He'd been pretty relieved when he turned twelve and Uncle Blaine told him he was getting too old for pockets. Whenever Uncle Blaine was due for a visit, Blaine II would spend a considerable amount of time wondering whether what was in that pocket would be sticky or fuzzy or something squishy and cold in a plastic bag. Uncle Blaine always had something in his jacket pocket and would tell Blaine II to reach his hand in and get it. Uncle Blaine and Aunt Carrie had used to visit when Blaine II was a kid. He'd never been there before, and he hadn't seen Uncle Blaine and Aunt Carrie in ten years, but he'd known all his life that Uncle Blaine was the reason his mother had called him Blaine II (Blaine Two, actually) and 'Possum Ford was where they lived.
